“The geospatial data have political value” Member of the European Parliament Phillip Busquin has declared on General Assembly EuroGeographics.
On September, 25, 2006 in Amsterdam at plenary session of General Assembly EuroGeographics - association Europe’s National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies with the key report “INSPIRE. Europe and the role of the geographical information within it” Member of the European Parliament Philippe Busquin has acted. In the speech Philippe Busquin has given the basic attention to the Directive 2004/980/EU “INSPIRE - INfrastructure for Spatial InfoRmation in Europe” and to formation of politics in sphere of the geographical information in the European Union.
