Cartographical network of Ukraine
The Ukrainian cartographical network is distributed GIS system for manufacture, supply and use of the geospatial data on the basis of standard network Internet access. Technologically, Ukrainian cartographical network is a set of the distributed servers of the digital cartographical data bases, WEB-mapping software, creation and use of interactive electronic maps in information-inquiry, cadastral, monitoring, navigating and other systems.
Organizational Ukrainian cartographical network in Internet is association of the enterprises for creation a new infrastructure for manufacture, supply and use of geospatial data which basis on WEB-mapping and Internet-interactions
GIS resources of a cartographical network - the digital map of Ukraine in scale 1:500 000, areas and Autonomous republic of Crimea in scale 1:200 000, separate cities in scales 1:2 000, 1:5 000, 1:10 000.
Actualization of digital maps in Internet is carried out in on-line mode from the moment of change in a situation on the territory, as additional to traditional paper maps which are updated once in 5-10 years.
